Born and bred Chicagoan~
I’ve been tattooing professionally for 28 years.
Served formal 2-year apprenticeship with Cap Szumski at Timeless Tattoo in Atlanta, GA, in 1996.
I was taught that it is my responsibility to carry on our tradition of quality, consistency, and pride.
I moved back to Chicago in 2004 to be closer to my family. I began working at my dear Tattoo Factory, and remained there until November of 2012.
I opened my private studio 2012 in the Old Irving/Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest side
I love tattooing, and can generally draw whatever you want.
I do all styles of tattooing and enjoy making the designs flow with lines of the body.
Tiny tattoos get just as much love as the giant ones, all are welcome! There is no “go big or go home” mantra here.
Along with artistic designs, I also do 3D nipple/areola tattooing for breast cancer survivors, surgical scar coverups/embellishments, and re-pigmentation.
I’m the go-to for all types of scar and coverup tattooing.
Along with breast cancer survivors, working with survivors of self-harm is very humbling.
I’m honored that clients trust me to help in their healing process, and I do my best to take care of everyone in a compassionate manner.
I do continuing education and attend classes & workshops as often as possible.
All of my professional, first aid, BBP, and legal certifications are always up to date and proudly displayed.
My schedule is generally a little tight, but I will always accept new clients. Books will never close
You don't need to audition to be tattooed by me. I don't select clients based on what I want to do, or do only "my style".
I was trained to be versatile, to offer all styles of tattooing, and to have a professional and friendly bedside manner.
I do my best to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Your safety and happiness are very important to me. I guarantee all of my work.
I’m trauma informed and very open with my own mental health journey.
I’ve always been an artist, I come from a family of artists and musicians, and they have always encouraged me to make art. I’ve only ever wanted to be a tattooer.
I try to learn something new every day. I love the Victorian/Edwardian eras, art nouveau, ancient & modern history, architecture, science, antiques, documentaries, reading, my cats, traveling, pirates, video games, and more. I have music playing 24-7 everywhere, and probably watch too much tv.
